Meeting 4 of the 2015/16 Season at Wesley Road Club on Tue 24 May 8pm

The meeting opened at 8pm
One minutes silence was observed to pay respects for any players who had passed away since previous meeting

Chairman’s Report

Mick say’s

“Well done” to all teams during last season and

“Congratulations” to winners, runners up both in league and cup competitions.

“This is my last meeting, someone must come forward as new chairman and also cup secretary”.

(If no cup secretary there would be no sponsors (£1600) which will be approx £50 extra per team.)

“ I will finish after Presentation Night”

“Thanks to all for their help”

“Big thank you to all members of Committee, both past & present


Fixtures and Competition Secretary’s Report

The season is now complete with all league and cup matches completed by 20 May on schedule.
League - There were 23 cancellations 7 re-arranged by teams amd 16 by myself (Ray). 5 of these were cancelled a 2nd time.

Some very late results often resulted in delays to updated league tables. (rule 5.8)

Stragglers and Roadrunners to Div 1
and Glos Rd B to Div 2

Lamb Shankers and Crown to Div 2
Bustard C and Outcasts to Div 2

Further promotions are possible subject to any Formation of Divisions decision which may be made at AGM.

Cups - Congratulations to all cup, single and pairs winners & runners up.

The web site will list these as always under menu option ‘Honours’.


Media and Statistics Secretary Report
Nothing to report except a general request for punctual results as previously mentioned by Ray.


The roll call showed that most teams were represented at the meeting with the exception of TBA
